Unisex Dachshund Playing Electric Guitar Hoodie

Every guitarist has been there. You pick up the guitar and the dog appears from nowhere to supervise. Nobody asked for notes, but the dog has them anyway.

This hoodie puts the whole scene on the back: a dachshund, standing tall on his hind legs, playing a red electric guitar like he's got a 9 p.m. set and a sound check to get through. A guitar and a dog on one hoodie covers two great loves with one gift.

It's made for the real calendar of a player: the cold garage in November, the Sunday jam, the drive home after a gig, the couch with an unplugged acoustic and a dog that refuses to move over.

Why it makes a good gift

• Two interests in one: guitar lovers and dachshund lovers both get the joke

• Suits birthdays, Father's Day, Christmas and Secret Santa
• Something they'll actually wear, not another gadget for the shelf

Who it's for

• Dad, husband or grandpa who plays guitar and spoils the dog
• The dachshund owner who has "just one more" guitar on order
• The bandmate or jam-night buddy
• A treat for yourself after a long rehearsal
